International 6/12 week Course with homestay

Comprehensive 12 week course designed to meet the needs of students who would like to come here to the US to study English. Classes are held 5 days a week and include reading, writing and speaking. Housing provided. *Flight & visa expenses not covered. Check with a representative for more information.

A Student Visa is not required to take courses at District of Columbia ESL.international
Students traveling from other countries may register for our classes
with a Visitor Visa. District of Columbia ESL does not issue the form i20.

Course Information

  • A letter of invitation can be provided if needed for students that require visas.
  • Courses are for 6 weeks or 12 weeks and offer the potential to go to a 2 year college here in the United States after attaining a minimum TOEFL score of 550PBT or 65iBT.
  • Classes are 2-3 hours a day 5 days a week and transportation to and from class is provided if held off-site.



Housing Information

  • A room in a town-home or single family home will be provided along with cable television and internet.
  • Transportation to and from class is provided if held off-site.
  • On weekends students are allow to travel to Washington DC to sight-see and learn more about US culture.
  • Use of illegal drugs will not be tolerated and students found with these substances will be expelled and required to leave the country.
